The makers of the film have unveiled a character poster of Anil Kapoor from the film who will be seen playing the role of Ranbir’s father in the film.

Sharing the poster on his Instagram handle, Anil captioned it, ‘Animal Ka Baap…Balbir singh!’ In the poster, he is seen sporting a wounded and bruised look.A lot of colourful flowers adorn the background in what looks like wallpaper.
As soon as the actor shared the poster, likes and comments poured in from all sides. Anil’s son and actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor commented four bow-down emojis and two fire emojis on his Instagram post. Anil’s son-in-law and Thank You For Coming director Karan Boolani also commented on a face with sunglasses emoji on the Instagram post.
While one fan wrote, ‘Anil Kapoor vs Ranbir kapoor let’s go I can’t wait’, another one added, ‘Anil maamey super’. A fan also commented, ‘You have no comparison(sic)’.
Apart from Anil and Ranbir, ‘Animal’ will also feature Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film will hit the theatres on December 1, 2023. It will lock horns with Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ at the box office.
