When contacted, his nephew Kushal Srivastava said, “Yes, it is true. He passed away half and hour back. We all are at AIIMS. His entire family is here. We haven’t decided on the last rites yet.”
New agency ANI also tweeted, “Comedian Raju Srivastava passes away in Delhi at the age of 58, confirms his family. He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on August 10 after experiencing chest pain & collapsing while working out at the gym.”

Just a few days ago, there was some improvement in the comedian’s health.
Raju Srivastava’s wife had spoken to BT on September 6 and informed, “All I can say is that his condition is stable and he is still on a ventilator. The medical team is doing their best and we all want your prayers, so that he recovers and is back with us.”
In fact, Raju’s chief advisor Ajit Saxena and Raju’s close friends had visited Lord Hanuman in Panki temple and prayed for his speedy recovery.
