Soren made the remark while addressing Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) workers, who had gathered outside his residence, before heading to regional office of ED for interrogation in a money laundering case linked to alleged illegal mining in the state.
He reached the probe agency office at 11:52am.
A large number of party workers, along with MLAs and ministers accompanied him.
“I feel agencies should come to a concrete conclusion only after a detailed probe. I am a CM, and the manner in which summoning is being done makes it look like we are people who flee the country,” Soren said.
He stated that such actions create uncertainty in state, and added, “It can be called a conspiracy to destabilise government . Our rivals were conspiring to topple government ever since we came to power.”
Soren also attacked the governor for patronising those who are trying to topple government.
He also released a letter written to ED.

Basant Soren, JMM MLA and Soren’s brother, said, “CM has gone to the agency and he’ll present his case. Hemant Soren is the CM and he will continue to be the CM. Party will contemplate only when a situation of change in leadership occurs.”
Meanwhile, Ranchi DC said that adequate forces have been deployed at locations from Morabadi ground to Ratu, Sahjanand chowk, Harmu, Argora chowk, Birsa chowk, Hinoo chowk, etc, and traffic diversions done wherever necessary.

Soren was initially summoned by the federal probe agency on November 3, but he did not depose citing official engagements and had even dared it to arrest him. He then sought a three-week deferment of the summons.
The agency has arrested Soren’s political aide Pankaj Mishra and two others – local muscleman Bachhu Yadav and Prem Prakash – in the case.
