Jawan worldwide box office collection day 1 early estimate: Shah Rukh Khan starrer mints Rs 150 crore | Hindi Movie News – Times of India



Shah Rukh Khan has set the box office on fire with his latest release Jawan. Fans, along with trade, have been gung ho about the film ever since the first prevue was released and the trailer just added to the frenzy. And now with the numbers coming in, one can surely say that Shah Rukh Khan is the unprecedented King of the box office, not only in India but across the globe.
According to trade buzz, the SRK-starrer minted a whopping Rs 75 crore in India and at the worldwide box office, the film has collected more than Rs 150 crore. Jawan is now the biggest opener of Bollywood of all time. The film reportedly saw an overall occupancy of 58.67 per cent in the Hindi belt and Chennai witnessed 81 per cent. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala mentioned on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Jawan is looking at Rs 150 crore plus Day 1 opening worldwide.”
Jawan was also able to cross AUD 400000 on Thursday in Australia, emerging as the first indian film to top the Australian box office. Even in New Zealand the film debuted at number 1 spot with NZ$ 79,805. In Germany the film opened at number 3 with Rs 1.30 crore. The film is also off to a flying start in North America, UK and Canada. In North America itself it had crossed more than Rs 5 crore in advance booking few hours before the actual screenings started.
Looking at the tremendous response to Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to thank all his fan clubs who came in big numbers and forced cinema owners to have shows as early as 6 and 7 am. He wrote, “Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan
The film also stars Vijay Sethupati, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt ( In cameos), Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak Godbole, Sanjeeta Chatterjee and Lehar Khan.
