On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Rajamouli took to X (formerly Twitter) to release the film’s title teaser and wrote, “When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else. Making a biopic is tough in itself, but conceiving one about the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is even more challenging. Our boys are ready and up for it..:) With immense pride, Presenting MADE IN INDIA…”
The film will be directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nitin Kakkar and will be released in six languages – Marathi, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
The ‘biopic of Indian cinema’, which also has SS Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya as the producer, will be directed by Nitin Kakkar. Nitin has previously made films such as ‘Mitron’ (2018), ‘Notebook’ (2019), ‘Jawaani Jaaneman‘ (2020), and ‘Ram Singh Charlie’ (2020).
