And when it comes to splurging, it seems like the Chopras and Chadhas are leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand affair. Reportedly, the couple have booked luxury properties like The Leela Palace and The Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur for their stay.
And when it comes to the bride and groom, it seems like no expense has been spared. According to a report by India Today, apart from other rooms, the Maharaja Suite of The Leela Palace Hotel has also been booked which reportedly costs around Rs 10 lakh per day. The gigantic suite is spread over 3500 square feet and has a special view of the lake.
Earlier, according to Hindustan Times, guests enjoyed the Sufi night with songs such as Chhaap Tilak Sab, Bulleya, Ishq Sufiana, Tu Mane Ya Na Mane, Afreen Afreen and Sanu Ek Pal Chain being performed.
Parineeti Chopra’s cousin Priyanka gave it a miss but the actress’ mother Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth marked their presence at the special function organised at Raghav’s residence in the national capital. Designer Pawan Sachdeva, who is Raghav’s close relative, also attended the Sufi night. Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh was also present at the pre-wedding function.
While everyone had loads of fun, Parineeti and Raghav danced the night away. The report states that Raghav, who is usually a shy person, danced till the wee hours. The couple was seen dancing with their family members and guests and they looked cute together.
The report further says that Parineeti’s family had been staying in Delhi for the past two weeks, with Parineeti’s brothers Shivang and Sahaj being by her side since the time she arrived in Delhi. At the time of ardaas in Delhi on September 19, there were happy tears rolling down the cheeks of everyone associated with Parineeti.
The couple is expected to leave for Udaipur today for the other pre wedding ceremonies, followed by the main event on September 24.
