It looks like things have gotten ugly between estranged couple Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas. In a lawsuit filed against Joe in a Manhattan court on Thursday, Sophie has asked for her kids Willa, 3, and a daughter, 14 months, whose name hasn’t been disclosed yet, to be returned to England.
The documents obtained by PEOPLE, has quoted Sophie’s legal team asserting the wrongful retention of her kids, which began on September 20.Sophie has claimed that she and the singer agreed to declare England their forever home in their conversations which took place over Christmas 2022.
Sophie alleged their separation happened very suddenly after an argument on August 15, which led Joe to file for divorce on September 5 after four years of marriage and the actress learned about their split through the media days later.
According to the documents, “The Father has possession of the children’s passports. He refuses to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother.”
The documents claim that on September 19, Joe’s attorney allegedly confirmed to Sophie’s legal team that he would not be returning the passports and would not provide consent for his daughters to move.
After their divorce news, a report had stated that the pair have been apart for the whole summer with Joe taking their two daughters on tour with him while Sophie was working in the UK.
