The SSC has also made the option-cum-preference forms available for qualified candidates ahead of the declaration of the final results for the CGL Exam 2023. Those who were shortlisted for and took the Tier-II exam can now submit their preferences for the post(s) or department(s) for CGLE-2023 by logging in to the official website, ssc.nic.in. The last date to review the final list of openings and indicate service preferences is November 21.
It’s crucial to highlight that candidates who miss the deadline for submitting their service preferences won’t be considered for any posts in the final outcome. Moreover, candidates have the opportunity to alter their service preferences before the stipulated deadline. The Option-cum-Preference form submitted between November 18 and 21 will be considered as final.
“Before the declaration of final result, Option-cum-Preference(s) for post(s)/ department(s) are required to be submitted by those candidates who have appeared in Tier-II examination. Accordingly, all candidates, who have appeared in Tier-II, are advised to submit their Option-cum-Preference for post(s)/ department(s) for CGLE-2023 through their respective ‘CANDIDATE LOGIN’ on the website of SSC (Headquarters) i.e., https://ssc.nic.in , wherein a tab for submission of Option-cum-Preference(s) for post(s)/ department(s) will be activated on 18.11.2023 which will remain active during the period from 18.11.2023 to 21.11.2023 for the candidates who have appeared in Tier-II examination”, reads the official notification.
