Venkataramani appointed next attorney general | India News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: In a notification issued late Wednesday evening, the government has appointed senior advocate R Venkataramani as attorney general after the incumbent K K Venugopal‘s extended tenure ends on September 30.
Venkataramani has been appointed for three years, according to the notification.
He was senior special counsel for Tamil Nadu and Andhra and was the member of the law commission in 2010.
